Courtney Fannin
An open book for Adams County. Courtney knows the Auditor's Office from the inside, and she'll run it with careful records, secure elections and doors open to every resident.
She knows how the office works because she's doing the work.
Courtney Fannin works in the Adams County Auditor's Office today and sees firsthand how much it does for our community every day.
Before deciding to run, she researched the role and shadowed the Auditor to understand the job from every angle. With our longtime Auditor retiring, Courtney is ready to bring steady leadership and a fresh perspective.
"Our office should keep serving the public with accuracy and professionalism."
Six line items. Every one accounted for.
Secure every ballot
Tight security from preparing and mailing ballots to receiving and processing them, building on safeguards like requiring two people whenever ballots are moved or handled.
Start an observer program
Adams County doesn't have an election observer plan yet. Courtney will create one and invite residents of every party to take part.
Reach every voter
Outreach in our community's languages, visits to senior centers, events at the library, and information brought to people where they are.
Finish the payroll upgrade
See the county's payroll system upgrades through so employees are paid accurately and on time.
Use every available tool
Make better use of the resources available from outside the county so Adams County gets more value.
Listen to residents
Better communication, and a real chance for residents to weigh in on how their office serves them.
Faithful where she is. Ready for more.
Courtney's path, serving faithfully inside the office before stepping up to lead it, follows the story of Joseph, one of Scripture's great examples of a trustworthy steward.
Faithful in the house
Joseph didn't start at the top. He served Potiphar so faithfully that everything in the house was placed in his care.
Trusted with the records
As steward of Egypt's grain he kept careful account and planned ahead, storing up in good years so the people were served in hard ones.
Set over the whole land
Because he was faithful where he was, he was raised up to lead. Courtney has learned this office from the inside and is ready to lead it.
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.GENESIS 41:41
A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

More than elections. Five departments.
Many voters don't realize the County Auditor oversees all of these. Courtney knows each one and the people who keep them running.
